The objective of the FairBuilding Network is to encourage Architects, Designers, Developers and Suppliers from across our industry to target time, resources and materials at projects developed by NGOs and Social Housing associations that are normally off the radar of the mainstream building industry. Ultimately the FairBuilding Network benefits the poor by creating a new marketplace that encourages the construction industry to do well by doing good, an approach very close to all of our hearts here at Interface.
Interface Asia is delighted to become the Platinum Partner of the FairBuilding Network, operated by the BCI Foundation.
The partnership was announced at BCI Asia Awards ceremony in Bangkok, on 2nd September, for which Interface is the Platinum Sponsor of the FuturArc Prize. This partnership forms part of Interface’s commitment to being a restorative enterprise that operates through socially inclusive business models, and to develop and strengthen similar practices within the industry.
By joining the initiative as an active construction industry partner and a platinum partner, Interface will assist in the maintenance and expansion development of the FairBuilding Network. The aspiration of the online platform is to create a new marketplace that overcomes poverty one project at a time. In addition to supporting the FairBuilding Network in its advancements, Interface will participate in the online platform as a supplier of A-grade carpet tiles, concurring FairBuilding Network’s mantra “Construction with a Conscience”.
